The San Jose Clubhouse is the home of We and Our Neighbors, the oldest continuously run women’s club in Santa Clara County, founded in 1892. The American Craftsman style bungalow was dedicated on May 27, 1910.  The San Jose Club House is a San Jose historic landmark and on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

This quaint venue has been perfectly maintained and updated to retain its original character. The brick-red building consists of a main room with a stage, large screen & projector, A/V system, ADA bathroom, kitchen, anteroom, stain glass fixtures, new hardwood floors and cozy stonework fireplace.  It is located off of 85 between 87 & 880 on the San Jose/ Los Gatos border.
The San Jose Clubhouse is the ideal location to have an intimate wedding or anniversary, bridal or baby shower, memorials, business meetings, birthday parties, boutiques, art shows and music recitals.

$500 Security Deposit is required with signed contract to reserve your date. Portions or all of the deposit will be forfeited if damage, extra maintenance, or extraordinary cleanup occurs. The Facility Rental Coordinator will determine these fees. Otherwise, the Deposit is refunded approximately two weeks after the event.

No Catering Minimum is required.
A list of Preferred Caterers will be provided.
Private family or members only events are not required to use a caterer and may bring in their own food and beverage. Private events can not be advertised or open to the public, charge admission and/or sell any food or beverage. 
Any caterer not listed must provide business license, proof of liability insurance and be approved. 

Wine, beer in bottles and/or cans, and champagne are the only alcoholic beverages the Renter may serve or permit to be served in the clubhouse, parking lots or surrounding areas. 
The State of CA requires that you obtain a Liquor License if you are selling alcohol or if alcohol is included in the price of admission or the entrance ticket.
Full Bar may be allowed only with State of California ABC Licensed Caterer with Insurance.

Security is required for all events with alcohol.*
Security is required for all evening events with 75+ ppl with or without alcohol.
Security hours will be calculated only while guests are present.
*Note: Security requirement may be waived for events under 75 ppl at that discretion of management.

The hours of access are to not to exceed contracted hours in total including set-up and breakdown. A fee of $100 will be charged for every 30 minutes of time exceeding the contracted period. The rental period may not extend beyond 11 p.m. (due to city regulations) on the date rented. Extended paid hours must be discussed with the rental manager.

Cancellation must be made in writing a minimum of 30 days in advance of scheduled event and received by the rental manager to receive a full refund. If the event is cancelled 21 days or more prior to the rental date, 50% of the Security Deposit will be forfeited by the renter. If the event is cancelled less than 21 but more than 7 days prior to the rental date, the entire Security Deposit will be forfeited. If the event is cancelled 7 days or less prior to the rental date, the entire Rental Fee and Security Deposit will be forfeited. 

The rental date(s) are confirmed upon receipt of the signed Rental Agreement and Security Deposit. The Rental Fee, along with the Proof of Insurance and Temporary Liquor License (if applicable) are due 30 days prior to the event. For any event booked less than 30 days in advance the renter must pay both the Rental Fee and the Security Deposit in full and provide Proof of Insurance and the Temporary Liquor License (if applicable) at the time the facility rental agreement is signed.

Once you are ready to book the facility check the CALENDAR to see if your date is available. If an event says "Pending" it may still be available. Please submit the request form and you will be placed on a time-stamped waiting list should the date become available.

You must fill out the Rental Request/Inquiry form to get a time-stamped temporary 7 day hold on the date you wish to reserve. If you do not submit your signed contract and deposit within 7 days your reservation will be released and go to the next request in order of inquiry.
