RENTAL INSTRUCTIONS


Thank you for choosing the We and Our Neighbors’ San Jose Clubhouse for your event! 

Please review the following information carefully and contact us at 408.280-1065 if you have any questions.

SIMPLE STEPS TO BOOK YOUR EVENT:
1) RENTAL REQUEST FORM
If you have not already please submit the Rental Request Form. This has a time stamp that will give you first priority for the date you are requesting.

2) RENTAL AGREEMENT
Carefully review and complete the Rental Agreement as soon as possible to reserve your date. Scan and email to sanjoseclubhouse@gmail.com or mail to:

3) PAYMENT
Submit your $500 Security Deposit to secure your reservation.

4) EVENT INSURANCE
Submit a copy of your liability insurance with We and Our Neighbors' listed as "additionally insured". If you already have homeowners, renters or business liability insurance you may be able to receive a certificate from your current insurance for free by contacting your agent. Otherwise event insurance can be purchased at a nominal fee, see resources below:

5) ALCOHOL (if applicable)
Wine, beer in bottles and/or cans, and champagne are the only alcoholic beverages the Renter may serve or permit to be served in the clubhouse, parking lots or surrounding areas. 
The State of CA requires that you obtain a Liquor License if you are selling alcohol or if alcohol is included in the price of admission or the entrance ticket. Nonprofits may obtain an Special Event Permit from CA ABC.
Full Bar may be allowed only with State of California ABC Licensed Caterer with Insurance.

IMPORTANT:
  • We will place a pending reservation on our calendar for one week (7 days) once you commit to reserving a date. 
  • Within that time period you must submit your signed Rental Agreement and $500 Security Deposit to secure the date.
  • Final payment and insurance should be submitted 60 days prior to your event or event will be cancelled.
  • If there is less than 60 days prior to your event all information must be submitted at the same time to secure your reservation.
